Home For the Holidays

So much has happened since last time Mama updated my blog. I knew she would have a hard time remembering to do it. But she has promised to get better. I have grown like a little weed and can have a full conversation with you as long as it is about food or Frosty the Snowman.

In October, we had Halloween! We got to carve a pumpkin (or watch Daddy carve a pumpkin). Mama and I played in the goo and seeds while Daddy was carving the face. I decided that "catsu" (pumpkin) is good to eat. "Mmm!"

Then they dressed me up in a Pooh costume and I got to eat candy!! Mama had a tooth pulled that day so we stayed at home and hid candy all over the house. It was so much fun! I got to talk to my Grandma and Grandpa on the computer that night too. It makes me happy to see their faces. Grandpa sings "FROST!" to me!

A few weeks later we made the LONG trip to Georgia for what they call Thanksgiving. The trip took about 15 hours, but it wasn't all bad. We left at 4:00 pm and I slept most of the night. When I woke up, we were there!! We were very busy that first day, getting ready for all the people to arrive. I was able to spend time with my Nana while everyone worked. My Nana, "Ke", "Kee", and "Katsee" are so fun! Oh! And "Katsee"'s "Wessey". He's my favorite.

Anyway- so the next day was Thanksgiving. Everybody came over to Grandma and Grandpa's house to eat my Grandpa's famous cooking. I got to see so many people that I haven't seen in so long! I finally got to see "Car" again! Me and Mama have missed Caroline very much. She is having a new baby sister in December. Her name will be Mary, or more like "Mae" when I say it. I haven't fully wrapped my head around the "new" baby thing yet. But it is still fun to buy very small pink clothes.
So we ran and ran, played in the bouncy houses, ate good food, there way a hayride but I napped through it. Needless to say, I slept very good that night.

That Saturday, Nana had her Thanksgiving. "Doll" (Dale) came up from wherever he lives in South Georgia. He is a very sweet man. You can just tell he already loves me, and I like that. And "C" (Cindy) came over to see me too! I had a wonderful Thanksgiving. It was so good to see everybody.

Then came the long drive home that I don't care to talk about much. Mama either.

So now we are back home in Kansas. Mama has bought me some fun craft things to do. I've already eaten Play-Doh and I don't think I'll be doing that again anytime soon, or until I forget. Today we are going to attempt finger painting (in the kitchen with a shower curtain on the floor. Don't panic.). I did it one time with Valerie and she survived. So Mama is going to try her luck. She should probably wait until Daddy gets home just in case I get angry. Daddy and Robby (Valerie's husband) are off hunting deer this morning. Daddy has been wanting to go for a very long time.

Daddy and Mama put up the Christmas tree the other day. It is very tempting to touch it, but Daddy changes my mind every time. There are so many presents under it now and Mama keeps playing Christmas music. It is really starting to feel like Christmas, not even including the 20 degree weather. (Ugh.) We will be making the LONG trip back to Georgia on the 17th so we can see "Mae" born on the 19th. I can't wait to see my whole family again. Until then, I will update you on any fun things that happen. There's bound to be a few things!
